Darcy is one of kind dog that just loves to work hard at any job. He's just as happy helping patients with rehabilitation in the hospital as he is working hard in the field flushing birds.

Born one day before my birthday, he represents the breed well in every endeavour he participates in. He is also the namesake behind Pemberley Fields Reg'd Kennel.

Darcy finished his Canadian Championship as a young dog with group placements, each placement had been awarded the day after having worked in the field. Truly a versatile dog.

His UKC Championship was achieved in one weekend with breed points against other Field Spaniels and with a Group 3 placement. Darcy recently joined the ranks of the elite by being one of only three Field Spaniels to have ever earned a BIS title. He is also the first Black Field spaniel to do so.

After a very limited showing in America, Darcy earned his AKC Championship with two large Majors at both of the 2007 Field Spaniel Society of America's National Specaility Trailor Shows. He earned his third and final Major by taking Best of Winners at the Fox River Field Spaniel Speciality Show in Nov 2007.

Darcy taking First place in his first Field Trial Stake

Not only has Darcy had success in the show ring, but he also claims the honour of being the first ever Field Spaniel to place in a competative Field Trial Stake. Darcy did not just place in the trial, he took home the blue ribbon. This is made all the more amazing since it had been the first Field Trial for both of Darcy and myself, and of course him being a show dog. Proving once again just how versatile Field Spaniels can be.
